In this activity students act as proofreaders and try to correct the 26 mistakes in a postcard written by Sean to his Spanish pen pal. There are spelling mistakes, article errors, ser conjugation errors, and errors of adjective agreement. Once students identify and correct the errors, they must answer comprehension questions about the postcard in Spanish.
This is a great activity to accompany chapter 1 of most Spanish textbook series. It is also editable in case you want to personalize it. If you are working towards having students write a postcard about themselves, this would be a good way to model it.
