Print this activity out and cut it in half. Give each half to pairs of students and instruct them to take turns reading a sentence in English to their partner.
Their partner will use a white-board (or paper) and try to correctly write the sentence in Spanish. The reader will then check their partner’s work for accuracy.
Allow them to give *hints* if needed.
Partner A will be reading single-verb sentences with reflexive verbs.
Partner B will be reading double-verb sentences with options for reflexive pronoun placement.
These sentences may be edited to better-reflect the vocabulary currently being studied in your classroom.
