I designed this resource to build proficiency in identifying initial sounds, rhyming, decoding and segmentation. I have included complete instructions on how to use the materials for optimal results. Rimas-cortar y pegar can be used with non-readers, beginning readers and struggling readers. It can be used for small group direct instruction, Centers, seat work, and/or homework. The same pages may be done more than once because the goal is proficiency in the various areas mentioned; this is different from “just” getting the pages checked off on the documentation sheet.
