Have you already purchased my original story "El círculo muy hambriento" and love it, but want to add an extension activity for additional practice? Try these student versions of the stories! I have edited the pages by removing some shapes on each page, so students read along with you and draw the correct number & colors of shapes as specified on each page. Read along with students and help them use context clues (like the numeral next to the written number word, cognates, or the shape in the bottom corner of the page) to help them interpret. For advanced groups, have them complete the book on their own and read it to someone!
There's even a link to my version of the story, which I narrated on youtube. :) Students can take their books home to their families, log on to youtube using the URL I gave them, and have their book read in a proper Spanish accent!
If you need any more ideas or have any questions or requests, just let me know!
By the way, this is a PDF file. I like to print it as a double-sided booklet, and in the print options I rotate the pages so the book flips up (not to the side), allowing for maximum size. I'm a bit of a tree hugger, so I like saving paper. :)
