Spanish Short Film Eres by Vicente Villanueva 2006. I have used this film as part of my Identity unit. It's about 10 minutes and highlights the the journey of a confused man for whom every interaction is about someone telling him who he his. At the end of the film, when he is asked who he is while on a date, he has a hard time responding.
This film is good for teaching identity while highlighting the role that society and others play in co-constructing our identities.
