This packet includes all you need to do a complete lesson on the song "Vamos a la playa," by Righeira. This is an excellent song to use for a comprehensible input activity with authentic cultural materials in lower-level Spanish classes, as it is simple and repetitive. It is particularly well-suited for use in a unit on travel and vacation vocabulary, and offers the opportunity to practice the present tense of the verb "IR."
Be warned, this song is VERY eighties! Your students will be rolling their eyes, but they won't be able to resist singing and dancing along, and everyone will be laughing by the end of class!
