This is a 47 page review and guided practice booklet for novice (low to mid) students. It provides a variety of materials from which you can choose to suit your needs. Choose those pages from the booklet that you can use, and use them as you see fit!
The specific sports mentioned in the majority of the booklet are: el fútbol, la natación, el tenis, el ciclismo, el atletismo, el esquí, el baloncesto, el béisbol, el voleibol, el críquet. The exercises consist of identifying each sport and spelling it correctly. There are a good deal of present tense verb conjugation activities. The verbs used are: nadar, correr, esquiar, ir batear, golpear, lanzar, meter, jugar, practicar, hacer, gustar, interesar, aburrir. A small section toward the end of the booklet involves these verbs: driblar, tirar, marcar, atrapar, guardar, bloquear, devolver, tener.
Several other grammar points included in the booklet are: gender of nouns, use of the definite article when speaking about sports in general, and a simple adverb review.
Regarding the verbs gustar, interesar, and aburrir, there is practice with indirect objects pronouns.
Toward the end of the booklet, there is a very short section about extreme sports and another section where students are asked to classify sports into similar groups.
