Wow... powerpoint and student copies! This is a great writing practice for the subjunctive in adjective and noun clauses! Starting with a fill-in-the-blank format, the students use an existing description and change the verbs into the subjunctive to create a new paragraph describing something that is 'hypothetical'. Next, as the students feel more confident with this practice, they progress creating and writing their own paragraphs to describe both 'real' and 'hypothetical' people and items, using the vocabulary that is included. This set includes a powerpoint and the PDF document for students. Use the set to review in class, or give the students homework and check their answers in class using the powerpoint! Included are 4 fill-in-the-blank practices and 4 essay style practices. All answer keys are included for a total of 17 pages. The powerpoint follows this practice and also includes answer keys.
