This catchy song is one of my students' favorites. I've removed some of the lyrics- mainly the subjunctive verbs- and a few other ones. Once students are able to fill in the blank after hearing the song 3 times (last time teacher stops the music and reviews words with the class) they will feel accomplished and have the structure of a verb of influence stuck in their heads. Also included is a list of new vocabulary not commonly included in early level Spanish classes and a link to the video to show the class after they've completed the activity.
This activity is suitable for students who have been introduced to the subjunctive with verbs of influence as the trigger.
