This is a great slideshow to teach your students how to use the subjunctive after expressions of desire (For example: My parents want me to go to college). This slideshow will teach/review how to conjugate regular subjunctive. It will also teach/review the irregular subjunctive conjugations. Then, it will teach your students several common ways to express desire and how to use the subjunctive with each expression. The expressions of desire that your students will learn and practice are:
desear que (to want that.../to desire that...)
esperar que (to hope that)
preferir que (to prefer that)
insistir en que (to insist that)
temer que (to fear that)
tener miedo de que (to fear that)
This slideshow will break down the information in a way that all of your students will understand and master. The slideshow uses animations and graphics to keep your students engaged. The slides are not long and wordy, but to-the-point and understandable. A Checking for Understanding section is included at the end to see how well the students understood the information, and offer guided practice.
This slideshow is in the Keynote format and will only work on an Apple/Mac product with Keynote software.
