This activity provides Spanish students with an easy way to begin to communicate, in Spanish, much information about themselves. Students, in pairs, will tell their partners about themselves by substituting in their own personal information for the given statements. The three versions incorporate many changes (13 changes to 22 changes to 34 changes) so a different version can be used depending on the present level of the students and, their level in the future.

Students react to this exercise by saying, "Wow, I can say much about myself!"

Appropriate for Level I and II, Honors, AP and college students

Contains six other suggestions for speaking using these basic sentences. Students can go from these basic sentences to being more spontaneous in their speaking.
