This is a 30 line dialogue for 6 people that can be used as a skit or a reader's theater, if desired.
The 6 people are preparing to eat Thanksgiving dinner. The characters are: Abuelo, Abuela, Javier, Rosa, Mamá, and Papá. The 2 children have conversations with their grandparents while the mom and dad do final preparations for the dinner. They then join the rest at the table. The dialogue contains many Thanksgiving food words, plus many useful phrases such as pásame, claro que sí, te gusta, me encanta, qué lástima, tengo sed, tengo mucha hambre, por supuesto, vale, voy a tomar, and more.
The download includes:
1. Dialogue with Spanish and English
2. Dialogue with Spanish only for use as a translation activity
3. Dialogue with English only for use as a translation activity
This is a great activity to use before the Thanksgiving recess, or for a sub lesson!
