This worksheet reviews present tense regular verbs, BE verbs, and UE, IE, and I stem-changing (shoe) verbs, plus words that go between conjugated and infinitive verbs. Also, students must decide when to conjugate verbs or leave in their infinitive forms and insert pronouns to follow prepositions. The sentences go together to make a simple narrative from the perspective of an infant. On page 1, the student completes the story by filling in the blanks with the conjugation of each infinitive verb in parenthesis to fit the subject provided in the sentence. Student or teacher can use the answer key on page 2 to check work.
Note: This worksheet is intended as a supplement to my own Elementary Spanish 1 curriculum but can be used as a supplement for other Spanish 1-level students as well. This is part 5 in a series of worksheets stories from the perspective of an infant fascinated by the world around him, but each can stand on its own as well. Enjoy!
