This file contains a short PowerPoint presentation introducing the verb "ser." It shows that 'ser' means 'to be' and says that 'estar' means 'to be' as well, but has a fun rhyme included for how to differentiate between the two! The PowerPoint has the conjugation chart for 'ser,' as well as practice fill-in-the-blank sentences.
One of the worksheets included has 10 fill-in-the-blank sentences that will use the verb "ser." Students have to determine the correct conjugation of the verb to put in the blank based on the subject pronouns in the sentence. The other worksheet shows pictures of celebrities (such as Oprah, Lady Gaga, and Denzel Washington) and asks students to write sentences describing the people using the verb "ser." For example, if there is a picture of Oprah you could write "Creo que Oprah es muy interesante."
Once again, file contains a PowerPoint presentation PLUS 2 practice worksheets. ENJOY! :)
