Includes four worksheets and one student handout on the Spanish irregular verb SER with present tense verb conjugations and important vocabulary. These communicative activities have editable printable and digital versions.
- In the first Spanish verb SER paired activity, students ask their partners questions using the verb, “Ser.” The partners answer using the verb, “Ser,” and then they record the answers in the third person.
- For example: ¿Eres un caballo? No, no soy un caballo.” Student writes, “No, no es un caballo.”
- Most questions have images to aid in comprehension.
- In this activity students practice listening, reading, and writing using different conjugations of the verb, “Ser.”
- The second Spanish Verb SER paired activity for Spanish is a game and also a competition between two students. It is good repetition and language in context for the verb, "Ser". Although quite simple, it is a no-fail paired activity. By that, I mean that all students will participate and will self-monitor to speak Spanish. Each student asks the other questions using different forms of the verb, "Ser". If the opponent answers correctly, he/she receives a point.
Also included:
- A student handout on the verb, "Ser" that demonstrates the verb used in context and expressions commonly used with, "Ser."
- A Google Slides digital version for use in Google Classroom, other Google and digital platforms, and distance learning
