Description
A conversation style reading activity for Spanish 1 with optional listening support. Student copies are provided with or without the link to the audio file which is hosted in Google Drive and included as an mp4 in this download as well. Teacher file with answer key also included separately in this download.
Spanish Conversation Reading: Weekend Plans
This conversation grouped into 15 portions for students to organize in the correct order. Some strips are 1 sentence, some strips are a few sentences long.

*Teacher copy with audio and answer key
*separate audio mp4 file
This activity was inspired by my conversation strips activity line; I have adjusted to make it distance learning compatible! I hope you enjoy it!
Covers the following Spanish language topics:
*Basic weather terms
*Hobbies / activities / places
*Common Spanish infinitives
*Gustar, Tener, ir
*Structure "Ir + a" is included in a comprehensible way
The teacher decides whether to provide the students with the copy that has a link to the AUDIO file. In the audio file, I slowly read the conversation in the correct order. You could provide this right away, OR you could provide the separate audio file after the activity as a way for the students to check their answers.
An answer sheet is included in both of the student copies, and the answer key is included in the teacher file.
This conversation activity is ready to share with your students during distance learning. Just choose which version you'd like to share with them! ZERO PREP is needed. Upload the PDF document onto your learning platform (Google Classroom) and students can create their own answer key in Google Docs, OR use a PDF reader to write their answers on the answer page of my (not-editable) file.
My students, for example, use the app Notability to write on the PDFs I share with them. There are many ways for students to write on PDFs if you desire this. Otherwise, they can easily create their own answer key anywhere by writing 1-15 and writing the LETTER I have assigned to each conversation line.
