This is a fun and engaging activity where students view actual, current movie times for a movie theater in Madrid, Spain.
Students look at the movie listings and the ticket stub to answer 15 questions (written in Spanish) in complete sentences. Questions include which movie theater it is, which movies are offered, how much the movie ticket cost, etc. Comparisons between movie prices in Spain and the US (as well as the euro vs. the USD) and opinions about movies are addressed as well. A few stem-changing verbs are used as well like "empezar" and "costar."
This is a great lesson for a Spanish 2-3 class.
An answer sheet is included.
