In this writing activity
students look at 4 original photos of various plazas in Madrid.
Students then respond to 12 questions (written in Spanish)
about what they see in the plazas.
Questions may include:
"Que hace la gente en las plazas?" or "Que harias tu en una plaza?"
The concept of a plaza is pretty foreign to students in the US, so this is a fun activity for students to see and think about what happens in plazas - a very essential part of every Spaniard's life!
This document can be edited
if you want to change the tenses used in the questions to adjust them to the level of your Spanish class. Currently, the questions use present tense and the conditional tense.
Larger versions of the photos are included as well, if you were to want to complete this activity on a projector screen.
