Spanish Writing Activity – QR Code Words Story/Sentence Writing
This is a fun cooperative learning activity for your Spanish language classroom which you can use throughout the whole year. Students love this activity and always participate with enthusiasm.
For this writing activity students will need to use a tablet or a mobile phone with a QR decoder app. Students will have to look for QR codes around the classroom or around the school and decode them. Each code corresponds to a Spanish word (verb, name or adjective). Once students have found all the codes/words, they will have to create a story using as many decoded words as they can.
According to students’ level, they can use the decoded words to create stories (using a specific tense or vocabulary topic) or to create sentences. Students will practice writing, word order and specific grammar or vocabulary topics while having fun.
The resource includes:
- 12 QR code verbs
- 12 QR code names
- 12 QR code adjectives
A feedback would be really appreciated.
