This writing prompt is ideal for a Spanish 2+ classroom to assess preterite versus imperfect writing skills
and adjective vocabulary.

for students to organize thoughts

6) a "less than perfect" essay for students to practice grading

Students are required to include things such as "key words" that indicate the use of the preterite or imperfect
as well as different uses of the preterite or imperfect
(such as, one time action, description in the past)
This writing prompt can act as a summative assessment for students.
