This pack includes two "Zip-Around" games in Spanish (Yo tengo...Quien tiene...) I love these games for vocabulary review and speaking practice. I designed these for immersion learners, but they would work for middle/high school second language learners as well.
This pack includes questions for students to practice synonyms or antonyms. Choose the orange cards if you would like to review sinónimos or the blue cards if you would like to play the antónimos version. There are 24 cards for each version.
Most of these words should be familiar to immersion learners, but you may choose to review or pre-teach a few if necessary.
Students stand in a circle and each receives one or two cards, depending on the size of the class. Teacher may also take the extra cards to expedite play.
One student starts by reading the question on the bottom of his/her card (¿Quién tiene un sinónimo de…?) The student who has the corresponding word then responds (Yo tengo…) and reads the question on the bottom of his/her card.
Play continues until all the cards have been called.
