Spanish for heritage speakers - COURSE OUTLINE for a first high school course

This is my course overview for the first level of Spanish for heritage/native speakers at my high school. It is completely updated and revamped from what I had posted for sale previously. For me, this is the closest thing to lesson plans that I am willing to sell. (Although, I also sell a list of day to day activities - buy it here: First high school course daily activity list).

This document explains how I break down my year, what I teach and when, and how I teach each unit/objective (which activities I use). I also use a star to denote which of the many of the activities are available in my TpT store. This is an awesome tool to help you start your first year teaching a heritage class or to start a brand new program at your school. (Note - a few of my units are based on two novels, Pregúntale a Alicia and La Travesía de Enrique; however, many of the ideas could be easily modified to use with a different book.)
