Product Description
My students are reading "Pregúntale a Alicia," and the format is diary entries. After studying various literary techniques (narration/point of view, dialogue/monologue, chronology, allusion, hyperbole, foreshadowing, diction, and imagery, I ask them to write their own diary entry as if they were a character in the book. They have to intentionally use 4 of the literary techniques above, and identify where they used them, and say what effect it had.
**This could be done with any book, any character, and any literary terms you have talked about.
