This is a writing assessment for the Spanish verbs ver, hacer, dar, ir, and ser in the preterite tense. It could be used for any unit but goes especially well with learning travel vocabulary. The first part of the assessment simply requires students to fill out the T-charts for each verb and include the English meaning. The second part is a prompt that asks students to describe a trip they took in the past. There are numerous questions in the prompt for students to answer, including where they went and what they saw on the trip. There is also an assessment rubric attached that clearly describes how students will be graded on a 4-3-2-1 scale.
