These cards contain Spanish questions and answers about favorite things, (for example: "¿Cuál es tu animal favorito?" with the other card reading, "Mi animal favorito es____.") I use these cards in a bilingual elementary classroom.
I am always looking for more ways to get my students practicing speaking in Spanish and conversing in full sentences. I use this activity at Morning Meeting and my students beg for it almost every day!
For the oral language activity, I pass them out, and then have the students walk around the room asking/responding to their friends to find their match. When they have found the question/answer that matches their card, they sit and practice asking each other. When every one is sitting, the students exchange cards with someone not in their group, and then begin again.
These cards can also be used for practice at a center in elementary or secondary Spanish classes.
