A frazzled dad tries to get his 4-year-old daughter and 9-month-old son ready to leave the house -- in Spanish.
I was getting my kids dressed and ready to go when all of a sudden, I realized I was using lots of reflexive verbs. So I busted out my phone and started recording all of my interaction with them.
Here is the script of my conversation, along with some suggested instructions and conversation points for your students. The focus is on reflexive verbs and daily routine verbs. There's lots of repetition.
You could use this as (i) a source of input for students learning it for the first time, or (ii) a review for students who have learned reflexive verbs before.
The audio clip is included as a link in the document you purchase. Audio clip is 4 min and 30 sec, roughly, and the full script is provided. Click on the preview button to see an extract from the script. Feel free to adapt instructions for your students.
Please rate this after using it! Did this go well with your students, or was it too awkward listening to a stranger get his kids ready? Let me know!
