I use this as a weekly center in my bilingual kinder classroom to practice reading, writing, and comprehension of sight words. The center also encourages practice of reading unknown words syllabically, proper use of ending punctuation, capitalization of the first letter of a sentence, and LOTS of comprehension!
Students must read the mixed-up words at the bottom and cut-and-paste them into the sentence the make in the box at the top. Afterwards, they write the sentence once one their own. Then, they draw a picture of what is happening in the sentence in the bottom box. Use as a no-prep center (just add scissors and glue!), a homework handout, or with small-groups.
