This clear and animated Power Point presentation will make teaching stem changing verbs in the present tense very simple. The editable presentation includes a review of all endings (-AR, -ER, -IR) and the definition of a stem (or root).
After the review, the Power Point is broken up in sections (e > ie, o > ue, u > ue, e >i). Each section comes with vocabulary words, an explanation on how to conjugate boot verbs and practice per section.
The Power Point includes a rime to help students remember what forms have a stem change, as well as a mnemonic to differentiate between verbs that have an e > ie versus e > i change.
There are lots of animations and practice throughout the Power Point to keep students engaged.
Please check out my stem changing graphic organizer that goes with this Power Point.
