La roca tonta has always been a success in all of my classes. Students really enjoy watching how Kevin, the main charter, tries unsuccessfully to speak to a giant rock.
Some of the vocabulary used: Tonta, Le da una patada, camina, ve y ¡Qué ruido! ... Very simple, easy to comprehend and very funny! Kids love it.
Spanish teachers who use storytelling or use a flipped classroom approach in their classes have found this story very helpful.
