Any sequence of numbers can be used. The cards in this download are just suggestions. It is recommended that the end number be displayed so that students know where to stop with a visual.
Game starts with students in a circle. Teacher says the Zap rule, "Count by 2s. Start at the number 4. Stop at the number 24." Teacher starts the count with the first number in the sequence. The next student in the circle says the next number in the sequence rule. If the students says the wrong number, they sit down and begin to record the numbers in the sequence on paper or whiteboards as the game continues. Play ends when the last number of the sequence is reached . The next child says "sparkle" and the next child is "zapped" and sits down. A new card is chosen by the teacher. The zap rule is read and displayed and play continues until there is only one child left standing.
