This resource provides tab labels and textual evidence for students to create a flip book assessment that identifies the 5 attributes defining character as identified in the STEAL strategy: Speech, Thoughts, Effect on Others, Actions, and Looks. Students will use this resource to produce evidence of understanding through character study. One page of STEAL strategy page labels and three additional pages of direct and indirect characterization evidence are included to guide student analysis. The first page of this resource can be used for any piece of literature requiring characterization. Additionally, Speak quotations can be used in a variety of ways, as indicated in the header of page two. Enjoy!
