Players: 2-5 in groups
Preparation: you will need one board, dice, and counters for each group of learners. As for counters, I usually ask my learners to use their erasers or pen caps.
Playing: before playing tell your learners that the aim is to speak as much as possible, and inviting players to ask follow-up questions.
The board game is great for a new class as a get-to-know-you activity.
The board game is perfect for learners who are taking Cambridge Exams KET and PET, since it includes questions that might come up in different parts of the speaking part of the test.
I usually use the game in one of the first few lessons with a new class. I also use it with my learners who are taking Cambridge KET and PET exams.
