Product Description
Speaking and Listening an important aspect of the Common Core Standards. Students should be able to have collaborative conversations with their classmates and build on each other's conversations. This is a set of 100 speaking task cards that focus on students making inferences about the cause of the situation. These questions have the following forms – “Why did that happen?” “Hoes does she/he feel?” “Where were they?” or “Who did that?”. Students must mentally propose solutions sorting out and retaining those possibilities that are most probable given the situation. These task cards can be used whole group, in a small group, or even as a written assignment. Print these cards out, laminate, and you’re good to go!
