Students will be broken into pairs. Each student will work on his or her own worksheet. As they are working partners should get the same answers for each numbered problem. In the case of one solution students will both get one solution but their point of intersection will not match. This is a good activity to check for understanding while also allowing students to check their work with one another. This activity contains graphing, elimination, and substitution. Students can get an answer of one solution, no solution, or infinite solutions.
Partner B’s paper is a little more challenging that partner A’s. Partner B will have to multiply both equations for some of the elimination problems.
