I have organized this binder to make my life better when writing students' current academic performance level for my IEPs. This is a great way to see exactly what your students are currently performing at academically. I test my students three times or more depending throughout the year. I have attached a sample of how I do my assessments. The first one I do is the San Diego Quick Assessment to determine what level students are reading at, then I choose their stories based on the instructional level or independent level. On the Phonics Survey packet, I make myself notes on what skills I need to teach or review throughout the year, I use these assessments to give me a great baseline when writing developing target goals. You don't have to use all assessments, use what you need. I have created this assessment binder as a tool for success.
