This rubric was specially useful to me when assessing students with high needs whom needed 1:1 support and cues to complete assessments.
When working with children with profound needs I found it rather difficult to "grade" their work on a typical grading system. I may have the same assessing instrument for my whole class but this rubric allows me to provide a individualized assessment of their performance according to their participation and amount of support needed.
I made this rubric inspired by the Florida Alternate Assessment Scoring rubric. This way, you can assess your students performance in your classroom in a very specific and effective way rather than relying constantly on observations.
