Just finished this long awaited item! This is a 61 page "NO READING" all pictures Job Inventory for students with Moderate/Severe disabilities. One of the hardest parts of my previous job (Transition Coach for 16 different districts) was testing students with moderate/severe disabilities to find out "what" kind of job "they" were interested in. Too often, the caregivers have very set ideas (that "may" or "may not") be what the student is actually interested in. Now, this picture choosing assessment will not work with every moderate/severe student, but if you take your time and learn how to use this test, I think you will find it an invaluable tool for many of your students who have been more challenging to assess with typical job inventories. Please note: all pages (except page 1 "which has restricted graphics") are fully editable - so you can personalize it if needed. Also, this packet ONLY includes "JOB INVENTORIES." The other parts needed to write a legally defensible Transition Plan such as: 1) Living Accommodations; 2) Recreation/Leisure; and 3) Continuing Education - ARE NOT INCLUDED with this packet.
11 Jobs Interests Assessed:
1) GP Geriatrics/Pediatrics (Caring for Others);
2) Cars/Automotive;
3) Horticulture;
4) Food Service;
5) Laundry;
6) IT (Information Technology);
7) Administrative Assistant;
8) Stocking (Grocery Store Included);
9) Veterinarian Assistant;
10) Building; and
11) Janitorial.
Thanks for following me and enjoy this very useful tool! Peg :8)
