Product Description
This is a great activity for the Resource room or regular classroom for elementary students. Students randomly choose an adjective and noun (job) to write a short story about. Students are also given the chance to give some of their own adjectives and nouns. This is a great activity for reviewing adjectives and nouns and also allows students to use their imagination to come up with some great stories. I have had students who struggle to write two sentences when given a prompt, but can write 1-2 pages of creative writing. You can also use this to go over the 5-step writing process, asking questions using the 5W-H model, or even with character words as adjectives (we know this is a big deal in schools right now). This is my first product, but I hope to continue making more and more. I am currently a Resource teacher for grades K-3 and my 2nd and 3rd graders love this activity. Hope your students love it too!
