This is a two-page graphic organizer that can be copied front and back. This graphic organizer can be used for any speech and adapted to any content area.
The student identifies the basics of the speech--- name, title, audience, purpose, location, and time.
The student takes notes on the following areas of the speech--- introduction, gestures, vocal variety, language, enthusiasm, connection to audience, argument/body, visual aids, and conclusion.
The student answers questions on the following topics--- message of the speech, speaker's ability to convince, the audience, whether or not the speech was memorable and why, how the audience responded to the speaker, and whether or not they would listen to the speaker again.
