Speech bubbles can be used many ways to enhance Common Core standards
in your instruction.
First, the speech bubbles may be printed on 8 x 11 paper, cut, laminated, and put on tongue depressor.
Use the speech bubbles on a stick in several ways:
• students practice writing their name, take a picture of them holding the name speech bubble & use pictures on a bulletin board
• create comic book pages
• practice writing dialogue using correct punctuation
Speaking and Listening Common Core Standards
• a reflective tool for small groups/ individual to use to express their ideas
Presentation of Knowledge and Ideas Common Core Standards:
• individual or small group responses
Speech bubbles can be used as clip art to be added to teacher created materials such as teacher created book reports.
