A fun way to work on functional targets in speech therapy for school-age and up.
1) Write in a word, phrase, or sentence that is important in your client's everyday life:
e.g. pancakes, more pancakes, I want pancakes.
2) Write in what each "judge" is listening for:
e.g. accurate /p/ sound, loud enough volume, medial consonants, etc.
3) Have your client produce the target.
4) Then, fill in the judges' scores -- use a checkmark, an X, a happy face, a sad face, a rating out of 10, or whatever works for you and your client.
Laminate and use a dry erase marker for multiple uses!
