Use these screenings as a quick tool to screen for speech, language, and hearing. Through use of these screens, you will get a quick idea how a student is doing and if further interventions or testing is needed.
The picture page may be used with the screenings, or stand alone for a quick articulation screen. By noting each sound in each position, you will get a quick and
reliable picture of a child’s speech productions.
At the bottom of each screening form, there is a place to mark hearing screen results. By circling pass or recheck, you can quickly identify a child that needs a follow-up screen.
I have used these screens for nearly 20 years and have found them very useful. I especially like to use them at the beginning of the school year as I screen classroom students.
