Here is Mini Pack of real life reports I wrote for ELL English Language Learner elementary aged kiddos who all speak Spanish at home and English at school. I describe in detail dialect variations versus a language processing disorder, and what those characteristics look like.
3 different reports: 2 cases where the child did not qualify, and 1 case where the child did qualify, and how to tell the difference.
Assessment tools used and described:
Speech and Language dialect variations of Spanish speakers on English production
Spontaneous Language Sample
Review of IEP goals, current academic benchmarks, previous assessment scores, academic concerns that are NOT related to S/L functioning.
I hope you find these useful and helpful :)
