This bundle includes 4 activities to help your students reach their goals while you celebrate this snowy season! Here is what is included:
**Winter Pronoun Flip Book
I created this packet for my younger students that needed a hands-on way to target pronouns. This 14 page flip book will help you target pronouns (he, him, her, she, they, them) as well as sentence imitation.
How to use:
-Print, cut pages in half, and laminate all pages.
-There are two copies of the pronoun cards. Cut out the squares on one page, and leave the other page as a base page (attach Velcro and keep the action/verb cards organized at the back of this packet.)
-Have your students read the sentence and decide which pronoun correctly completes the sentence.
Suggested use: attach all the pages with binder rings to make a flip book!
**No Prep Winter Articulation Homework
Print and go with these winter themed articulation homework sheets!
Use a pencil and paperclip to make a spinner. Spin then color in each matching picture you land on with the spinner. Say each word 3 times or make up a sentence for each word.
Sounds included in this packet:
K, g, v, f, s, r, l, sh, ch, th,
A blank copy is also included so you can create your own based on your students’ individual needs.
**WH-Question Scenes for Winter
I created this for my students that are working on answering WH-questions (who, what, where.) Included in this packet are 9 scenes and 90 WH-questions.
There are multiple ways to use this, but here are some suggestions:
-Print and laminate the sheets. Have your verbally answer the questions, circle them with a dry erase marker, or simply point to answer.
-Save some ink and download this to your iPad. Have your students scroll through the pictures as he/she answers the questions for each scene.
-Cut it up and turn it into a puzzle! Then have your students answer the questions after the puzzle is completed.
You can also use these pictures to target many other goals such as:
Inferencing (play an “I Spy” game)
Articulation (describe the picture using good speech sounds)
This interactive activity packet addresses sentence grammar, capitalization, punctuation, pronouns, plurals, and verb tenses.
Page 3-9 Winter Grammar Game:
This game includes a game board, 30 grammar question cards, and 6 bonus cards (ex: go ahead, go back 1 space) Have students move across the game board as they answer a question on the card correctly.
Page 10-27 Say It. Fix It. Draw It:
Print these out and let students do some independent practice. Students are to read the sentence out loud. Then, fix the errors and re-write the sentence correctly. Finally, illustrate the sentence. A blank page is included for you to create your own sentences for your students and their individual needs.
