This speech-language coloring story activity features a problem that kids can help to identify and to solve. This activity helps with practicing speech targets, or speech-language skills, as well as story comprehending.
Please Note that a speech target is whatever speech or language skills that kids can say or use correctly some of the time. These are appropriate skills to practice. An example of a speech target is naming words that end in /k/, as in “shake”, “stick” or “kick”.
