Do you need an activity that finally interests your older articulation students? Laughter is the best solution for that!
These of nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs are specific to target sounds, and are designed to complement fill-in-the-blank stories (such as those on this site or this site). Please note, , this is a companion to use with stories that you have purchased or downloaded elsewhere. This resource is intended to make the activity purposeful for eliciting tons of productions in a natural context!
How to use: Choose the page that corresponds with your student’s speech goal. Help your student use the appropriate word list to complete a fill-in-the-blank story while practicing the words chosen for the blanks. Then, have the student read the funny story that is loaded with the target sound.
You could also use this resource for your student to write stories using words with their target sound. Since many of the words are tier 2 vocabulary words, this resource is great for targeting language as well!
