Many teachers use “morning messages” at the beginning of the day. The goal of these messages is to bring the class together for a whole group activity. As SLPs, we generally have multiple groups throughout the day. However, we can still implement this practice AND work on speech/language goals at the same time.
These “speech messages” are not seasonal or holiday-themed, so they can be used year round. I recommend printing, laminating, and putting the cards on binder rings so that you can quickly flip to a new message each day.
There are a total of 75 cards, so you should have enough to change the message twice a week.
