I know I’m not the only SLP who gets antsy treating in my tiny speech room all day, every day! I created this as a way to get out, have a little fun, and still get trials in.
This pack includes 16 unique scavenger hunts for the following speech sounds:
Each hunt has 30 targets to find. Also included: a wrap-up page and a generic page where students make their own list from items they find.
Perfect for the end of the school year, before holiday breaks, summer school, during state testing, or anytime you and your kids need a change of scenery. Can be used indoors or outside.
Try sending a copy home for homework or summer practice, too! A Homework Helper Letter is included!

Suggestions for use:
Print the appropriate version for each student in the group.
Set the rules before you leave the therapy room (walking in halls, quiet voices, not entering rooms without permission). Consider drilling words (or sentences) before you head out.
Bring pencils and check off items as you find them.
Students will get to practice their sounds in a more natural way by talking about what they are looking for – Carryover!
Have students practice their words at their level (words/phrases/sentences) as they find them, go back to the speech room for the last few minutes and drill them as a wrap up, or both!
If wrapping up back in the speech room, use the Wrap Up and Roll page for more suggestions.
