Do you need something to target articulation that's flexible and no print/no prep? And can be used for mixed groups and homework? This resource checks all the boxes!

This resource contains 21 SCENES, each one targeting a different phoneme in mixed word positions. The following sounds are included on their own page:

m, n, p, b, t, d, k, g, s, z, f, v, th, sh, ch, j, l, r, s-blends, l-blends, r-blends

Each of the above sounds includes TWO versions: a FULL-COLOR and a BLACK-LINE for easy printing. The first page of the PDF allows you to click to be taken to either the printable or no print section, and from there select the phoneme you wish to view or print. There are 10 target words per page, and a checklist (with both the word and the picture) is included on each page. The no print version contains clickable checkboxes, while the printable version can be checked off using a writing utensil as the pictures are found.

Ways to use this resource:

This resource can be used as an articulation activity in therapy for target sounds at the word, phrase, sentence, or structured conversation level (more ideas below). It can also be used as a quick check of a child’s current achievement of their sounds before progress reports or after a break. Additionally, it works well to stimulate language (verbs, description, vocabulary, prepositions, etc.). Lastly, you can use this as a stimuli when screening articulation.

PRINT: Each scene in this resource is also provided in black line for easy, color-free printing. Students can circle, color, or stamp the target words in the scene. These are also great to send home for homework!

NO PRINT: The pictures can be used on computer, iPad, or teletherapy platforms using PDF reader apps. Students can find each of the target words in the scene, and practice using their target sounds in words, phrases, or sentences.
