Speech Scripts: Articulation Acting {No Prep!}

This is a set of scripts written with articulation in mind!

Your students will be the actors as they perform these mini plays and practice their articulation skills at the same time!

If you have students that can say their target sound in words and short sentences, but are having difficulty carrying over those skills to connected speech - this is a product for you!

•SCRIPTS: The scripts are about 1 page in length and are pretty silly. They are meant to get your students talking, practicing their speech skills, and putting on a performance. Each script has a follow up performance idea for additional practice at the bottom. Click on the preview file to download one of the scripts for free and check it out!

•ACT IT OUT SCENE CARDS: These cards have scene-starters on them. Students draw a scene card out of a hat and then have to act out the scene on the spot!

•STORYBOARDS: Students can write their own mini performance. The storyboards come in two different lengths (4 scenes or 6 scenes) Once the student plans out their performance with the storyboard, they then perform it for the group!

•DATA COLLECTION SHEET: While the students are performing, you'll be watching and admiring their speech sound production. And if you need to collect data at the same time, I've included an easy data sheet so you can record accurate and inaccurate productions of the target sounds!
